NOE Group, through its local branch NOE JAPAN KK, concluded its participation in Expo 2025 Osaka as a comprehensive supplier, building and operating the pavilions of Brazil, Chile and Angola, and coordinating events, cultural activities and interactive experiences inside them, work that was recognized at the BIE Day Awards Ceremony with the Gold Award (External Design) for Angola, the Silver Award (Theme Development) for Brazil and the Bronze Award (Theme Development) for Chile.

Brazil’s pavilion to behave as a living organism
Sustainability and the “Brazilian soul” will be at the heart of Brazil’s pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai, with creative director Bia Lessa, the pavilion will feature 84 ‘breathing’ inflatables and light beams that simulate the life cycle and warn about environmental degradation.

Chile’s mantle arrives in Osaka
“Makün”, a mantle woven by 200 Mapuche weavers, has arrived in Japan where it will serve as the centrepiece of Chile’s pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai. The 242m2 blanket represents Chile’s diversity, inclusion and innovation, and its arrival strengthen ties of friendship between the two countries.
Grand Ring recognised as the largest wooden structure in the world
Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai’s Grand Ring has been recognised by Guinness World Records as the world’s largest wooden architectural structure. Covering over 61,000m2, the eye-catching edifice symbolises the Expo concept of “Unity in Diversity.”
Brazil takes possession of Expo pavilion
A ceremony in Osaka marked the transfer of Brazil’s pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai from the contractor to ApexBrasil. The 1,000m2 pavilion will focus on sustainability, and will offer visitors a sensorial experience of the ‘Flying Rivers’ phenomenon.
